SPOOK-IFY!

Tomorrow is OCTOBER 1st!!!!!!!!

And this post that my sister, Kara, wrote has inspired me to start a little Halloween Decoratin'!

First up!  Maybe I should "spook-ify" my front porch...

I love the black wreath with the cobwebs!  And the eerie black branches above the door.  The stacked pumpkins are pretty amazing, too.  What do you think?  Would we get lots of trick-or-treaters with this set up?

Next are these gorgeous Gilded Pumpkins!  Fancy :>)

Check out these hanging mini pumpkins.  So fun!

Some more mini pumpkins (I love these little guys... They're so cute)

The spider tea light holders would be pretty easy to make.  All you need to do is scoop out the middle of the pumpkin, add a candle, and poke in some black pipe cleaners.

These would be perfect lining the walkway up to my house!

And finally, my favorite, the picture Kara posted that started this Halloween Frenzy...

(pictures from Good Housekeeping, Better Homes and Gardens, and Country Living)

I love the 3 white "BOO" pumpkins in the middle.  The black and white look makes the Halloween decor so chic.  Pile up some mini's on the sides, spray paint some fake ivy - DONE!

I think I'm going to work on the mantle first.....thanks KARA!!!!

I'll post pics when I'm done :>)

  1. The kiddies would love your house if you took your cue from the first image, but I LOVE the gilded look-very swanky!

  2. Painting fake ivy? Genius! You are spot on with the black and white Halloween decor. It's chic, but still captures the spirit. Turn those white pumpkins around and they can work double-duty for Thanksgiving as well.
Now I need to get some black spray paint. :)
