A favorite in our household. The key for me is to start them early - earlier than I think I need to. They can sit after the first round of baking for awhile. There's no harm in letting them cool because, after all, you bake them twice :>)

Feel free to add more cheesy goodness. We mix cheese into the filling and add it on top for the 2nd go around.
