Tailgating!!

I finally made it to my first Tailgate of the season - it's been a little late coming this year, but better late than never!

Every year we travel to the USC vs. Notre Dame Football game.  This year the game was at the beautiful Notre Dame Campus.  A big crew from California flew out, and Billy and I drove up from Nashville to meet them.

It was a perfect weekend! Lots of family, friends, and food.  The weather was lovely (not like last year's freezing cold rain!)  And I have a cousin, Jason, who is actually a freshman at Notre Dame this year - he's on the baseball team.  So Jason, his dad Scott, and brother Brian all came out for the game too.  What were our tailgate essentials this year?

Chili in the Croc Pot
Hot dogs and Tri Tip on the grill
The Leiva's famous "Hot Cheese"
Pumpkin Bars
aaaaaaaaaand mimosas to start the day!

The Leiva crew!  And yes, we are a family divided...loyalties are pretty split...but that's ok.

We still like each other at the end.


Especially because USC won this year :>)
